We’re always really chuffed when clients who’ve enjoyed using our photo booth, recommend us and our service to their family and friends – that word of mouth recommendation from a happy client really is the best endorsement . Following a successful booth booking at a Bat Mitzvah in North London, we had been recommended at another Bat Mitzvah, this time in Pizza Express in West Hampstead.

It turns out that the Pizza Express in West Hampstead is a great venue for a party, housed in a stylish building and with a nice big space, perfect for dancing. Needless, to say the pizza here is very tasty too!

We took along a special selection of props that complimented the party’s theme, as a well-stock props box always makes using the booth particularly enjoyable. The guests had been asked to come wearing masks and they responded in style – wearing everything from traditional Venetian masks with feathers, to superhero, devil and celebrity masks..

From beginning to end of the party, the young people loved using our Bubble Booths photo booth – with laughter, giggles and screams of delight coming from behind the curtain. Brilliant memories were being created, then captured and printed on the spot. The guest book was great, filled from cover to cover with lovely messages and pictures for the Bat Mitzvah girl to cherish and keep forever.

The night was a great success with dancing, moving and entertaining speeches and family and friends joining together to celebrate. Our photo booth was there to capture the spirit of it all, which it did in great style. We love our job!

School Party Photo Booth hire at St Paul’s Girls’ School in London

With the end of the school year coming up, this is the time of year when schools celebrate with proms and end-of-year parties. it was great to be invited back by St Paul’s Girls’ School in London to attend another one of their leavers’ dinner. It’s always a big compliment and a pleasure to be asked back year after year, especially when your last visit was such fun!

All the events we attend are special occasions, so we feel that arriving well inadvance and in plenty of time to set up is key – reliability and punctuality are really important when it comes to taking part in special events. Having set up our photo booth in the main hall of the grand school building, we were ready for the girls to arrive. Around us, canapés were being prepared and drinks poured into glasses – all part of the lead-up to a celebration.

Boy, did we hit the ground running! We were so popular that the first group of girls came running in to be the first to have a go! Much fun was had choosing props, accessorising them and practising poses – you can imagine how much the girls enjoyed themselves. As our high quality photographic prints came out, the girls rushed to compare them to see who had struck the best poses. Screams of laughter came from behind the booth curtain, encouraging others to come back in for more fun. Thanks to smart phones, as well as lovely prints to take away and treasure, images were going straight onto Facebook and being shared with friends and family.

We were so busy, that the evening went by in a flash, which is just how we like it! We were thrilled to be part of the St Paul’s Girls’ School Leavers’ celebrations – it’s great to see all the students enjoying themselves and having fun. Once again, the Bubble Booths team had a lovely time there and we hope to be back there again next year.

A FANTSTIC 40th BIRTHDAY PARTY PHOTO BOOTH HIRE IN NORTH LONDON

We were delighted to attend Costas’s 40th birthday party in North London. Costa had seen Bubble Booths in action at a wedding in 2012 and he booked us on the spot! He told me that he had enjoyed using the photo booth so much that he just had to have Bubble Booths at his special birthday party. When we attended Costa’s party it was really nice to see some familiar faces (including the bride and groom and their best man) from the wedding. Everyone was pleased to see us again and get to have another go at using the booth.

Trios in Palmers Green north London was the venue for the party. Our smart photo booth fitted perfectly in an alcove by the bar. It turned out to be a great place for us, as people leapt in the booth before and after visiting the bar. We had a crowd of party revellers around us all night long! In fact, everyone loved the booth so much that Costas extended our hire period for another hour then and there! He certainly knows how to celebrate in style!

The party was predominately a great Greek affair with the sound of Greek music coming from the dance floor and delicious-looking Greek food being served. Old friends and family who’d come together for this special occasion, loved the booth as it was a way of having visual souvenirs. We printed out several reprints of our high-quality prints for distant cousins who wanted special mementoes of the evening.

Many thanks to Costas for inviting us to his 40th birthday celebration. He was thrilled to have us there. We had a great time and so did all his friends and family. ☺

FUN FORTIETH BIRTHDAY PARTY PHOTO BOOTH HIRE IN NORTH LONDON

People really like to celebrate their landmark birthdays – whether they’re turning 16, 21 or 80 years old! Hiring a photo booth is a great way to make the birthday party go with a swing and get fantastic photo souvenirs of you and your guests enjoying themselves. Early May saw us at another 40th birthday party in north London. As we pulled up outside a private house we could hear the party already rocking away.

We were greeted by the birthday girl and ushered into the front room. Our sleek photo booth fitted neatly into the corner and we spread our props out over a table. As soon as we were ready to go we had an enthusiastic queue of happy party guests waiting to get into the booth. There was much laughing, posing and squeezing into the photo booth, with people striking crazy poses and getting propped up to the max.

Seeing how keen all the guests were to strut their stuff in front of the booth camera, we started a pose off, encouraging the guests to better the poses from the previous set of images with their own creative ideas! The party guests were from all over Europe – a creative bunch of film makers, architects, furniture makers, makeup artist, models and writers – and they rose to our pose off challenge in style. We encouraged all the guests to stick their second prints in the guestbook and write a message, as this meant that the birthday girl had a wonderful souvenir of her special event. The birthday girl sent me a message saying she had dipped into the guestbook several times since the party and loved it, with the messages and crazy pictures of all her friends bringing back happy memories of her birthday celebrations.

We have already been promised photo booth bookings from two of the guests at the party, as they loved the Bubble Booths experience so much. We can’t wait as they were a great crowd and we look forward to meeting them all again soon and having more photo booth fun with them!

Bat Mitzvah Photo Booth Hire in Muswell Hill, North London

A Bat Mitzvah is obviously a very special event, with family and friends gathered together for witness and celebrate a coming of age. Having a photo booth at a Bat Mitzvah or Bar Mitzvah is a fantastic way of both having an entertainment element at the event – people love taking pictures of themselves and their friends in the photo booth – and creating relaxed, memorable images of family and friends at the event which can be taken home as wonderful souvenirs. The great thing about photo booths is that they appeal across all generations, from young to old. There’s something about striking a pose in the privacy of a photo booth and having a great-quality print of yourself in that pose minutes later which is irresistible . . .

We were thrilled, therefore, when Bubble Booths photo booth hire was invited to help celebrate and capture the fun of a special Bat Mitzvah with one of our photo booths in north London. The venue was the popular Clissold Arms pub in Muswell Hill, a great stylish space in which to hold a party.

Sulai – whose Bat Mitzvah it was – had a great time using our photo booth. She and her friends loved looking through our great prop box, choosing from our abundant selection of wigs, hats, glasses and feather boas which ones to dress up with and striking some fun poses.

By the end of the evening, the guest book containing our great quality print images of family and friends posing in the photo booth looked amazing! Sulai was thrilled when we presented it to her and her mum, who’d gone to so much trouble to make her daughter’s Bat Mitzvah a very special event. She told us that we’d made the party for her, as “it was so much fun posing in the photo booth!”

Superhero Birthday Party Fun at Royal Chase Hotel, Enfield Photo Booth Hire

Our photo booth went down a storm at a very special birthday party at the Royal Chase Hotel in Enfield, Hertforshire. We had been booked once again by The Party Belles, a very talented team of party planners for a Superhero-themed birthday party bash.

As usual, the Party Belles went all out in setting up an amazing superhero event for their client. There were chocolate fountains, balloon sculptors, caricaturists, superhero dancers, a DJ and, of course, our photo booth too. The Party Belles had embraced the superhero theme – from the table settings and balloons to a superhero prop box for the photo booth, everything was superhero themed

Our simple, stylish black photo booth went down a storm with all the party guests and within minutes we had people keen to come in and have their photo taken. As it was a birthday party we had a great age range, from excited three-year-olds – thrilled to strut their stuff – to mums, dads and grandparents, all striking cool superhero poses! The guestbook soon started filling up with our great quality, photographic prints, recording special moments that will make everyone smile and laugh for years to come – memories to be treasured. We had many compliments on the quality of our prints and our smiling, friendly service. We had a great time being there as it’s always fun to seeing people enjoying themselves.

Wedding Photo booth hire in St Albans, Hertfordshire at The Old Albanian Sports Club St Albans

Surprise Photo Booth Hire Wedding Gift  Is A Sensation!
As a surprise wedding gift for bride and groom Nicky and Mark, a few close friends decided to give them a wedding party photo booth session with Bubble Booths. As the newly married couple and guests were finishing their wedding dinner, we set up our photo booth at The Old Albanian Sports Club, St Albans. As soon as the surprise was revealed, Nicky and Mark were the first to jump in. It turned out they were fantastic at striking a pose and loved our photo booth, In fact, very appropriately, as well as being the first in, they were the last in at the end of the night!

Our props box full of glittering wigs, rock glasses, feather boas and a big selection of hats was much admired. In fact, one of the guests even wanted to buy one of the hats to wear it home! Throughout the evening, we encouraged the wedding guests to sign and stick their extra set of fun pictures into the special guestbook we provided for the newly married bride and groom. The happy couple will be able to cherish the images and also enjoy the messages for years and years to come.

Mark’s best friend, June from MyMustard organised the booth hire with us. She was thrilled with the  way the wedding party and the photo booth surprise went. Bubble Booths are delighted to share her comments with you:

Photo Booth Charity shoot for Compassionate Eye Foundation -helping to make a difference in the world.

When Fiona Watson Productions  –   a photographic producer, casting agent, stylist and art director that works closely with the Compassionate Eye Foundation –  asked if Bubble Booths would be prepared to help her on a shoot for The Compassionate Eye Foundation  we jumped at the chance. The Compassionate Eye Foundation is a creative community wanting to make a difference by donating their creative talents producing images that sell through Getty Images and using the proceeds to help people in Guatemala, Sierra Leone, Ethiopia, Kenya, Cambodia, Zambia, and South Africa and we very much admire what they do.

Fiona, an experienced art director, thought that a photo booth-themed shoot would be a very topical idea. She had already used our photo booth for a Christmas promotion for Street Cast Models in 2011,  so she knew the fun you could have in a photo booth.  Having set the booth up to be amazing quality with professional cameras, professional printers and superior studio flash lighting we knew that the image quality would easily pass the very strict quality control of Getty Images imaging department.

The idea of the day’s shoot with Fiona was to produce as many images as we could along selected themes, get these pictures into the Getty Images photo library so that they could make loads of money for the Compassionate Eye charity helping people around the world. With this important cause, we had a mission to be as efficient and productive as possible.

Thanks to lots of pre-shoot organisation, the day went without a hitch, Fiona’s models turned up promptly,  from mums with new-born babies to a bride and groom dressed in full wedding gown and suit. Professional props, wardrobe and full make-up was provided throughout the day, so everyone looked great. The Bubble Booths easy-to-use photo booth came into its own as a stream of models passed through it. The good news is that the Compassionate Eye Foundation shoot with Bubble Booths had over 100 images accepted by Getty Images from the photo booth shoot!  This is great news and we’re really excited to see how much money these photo booth images will generate for  Compassionate Eye Foundation’s good causes around the world.

Double Birthday Party in Harpenden – Hertfordshire Photo Booth Hire for a special birthday celebration. 50th & 21st birthday party.

This was a first for Bubble Booths, a very special joint fiftieth birthday and twenty first birthday celebration in Aldwickbury Park Golf  Club, Harpenden Hertfordshire.   Home to two magnificent Ken Brown-designed golf courses,  Aldwickbury Park Golf Park has become widely renowned as one of Hertfordshire’s top events venues hosting Christmas parties, weddings, and corporate dinners. We had a great time at Alwickbury Park Golf Club Harpenden and would highly recommend it as a venue.

Father and daughter Mark and Pip asked us to help them celebrate their very special joint birthday party in Harpenden.  Their party theme was  “wear a mask ball”  and the guests embraced the theme with relish, arriving dressed to the nines and wearing their masks. We spotted splendid Venetian carnival masks, cat masks, butterfly and bird masks, home made masks and special order full-face masks. People had really gone to town on dressing up, which was great to see.

It was a brilliant party with a buzzing atmosphere,  delicious-looking food and great music which got all the guests bopping.  The guests young and old kept us busy all night! As soon as we started our booth hire session. Pip’s family and friends jumped in and posed the night away.  We uploaded a gallery of all the fantastic images to Facebook the next morning and have had a steady stream of party revellers visiting us and commenting ever since!

We were delighted to complement the guest’s masks with our own very well stocked prop box. As ever, our props, including glasses, feather boas and masks , were a great hit. Mark and Pip had ordered our guestbook and an extra set of prints. By the end of the night, the guestbook was filled up with a fun selection of images and comments. Having a guestbook ensures you have the perfect keepsake of a special occasion, providing lasting memories.   As ever, both the hosts and the guests were impressed with the quality of our prints and the fact that they were  unlimited for the duration of the booth hire.

This is the second time I’ve had Mark strutting his stuff in our photo booth. We met at the St Albans Chamber of Commerce Ball at Sopwell House, St Albans back in 2011 where our photo booth made a great impression on him. He mentioned at the time he’d love to hire us for his own party and it was great to see him again.

The great thing about having a photo booth company is that you get to go to some very special occasions. Bar Mitzvahs, of course, are one of these special occasions, a wonderful time to bring together family and friends and all the generations to celebrate a boy moving into manhood. From experience, we know that Bubble Booths are a great addition to a Bar Mitzvah, as it’s lovely for the guests to have souvenir photos of such a special occasion. Max’s Bar Mitzvah, held in a marquee in the garden  at his family home in the leafy suburbs of Elstree in Hertfordshire was a case in point.

The family had gone to town for this special celebration. Lee from Proactive 4 parties  had been brought in to run the show and had done a great event job.  The marquee was decked out with flashing lights and stonking disco set- up with a fantastic motivational DJ soon got everyone moving and grooving to the sounds, while  bar flarers and generous amounts of finger food added to the party atmosphere.

Our photo booth was a hit from the start with old family friends jumping in as soon as we turned it on!  Max’s mates knew how to work our booth, throwing some cool poses and having a great laugh with the props too. Our abundant selection of props -  hats, wigs, over-the-top glasses and feather boas -  went down a storm as usual with adults and kids alike.  Our special offer of unlimited prints during the party is always a hit as it enables party guests to visit the photo booth as many times as they like and take superb quality prints away with them.
